It is a 6-degree-of-freedom high dexterity electric manipulator that is ideally suited for a use on UGV. The high-performance actuators and carbon fiber structure provide a strong light weight arm with the power to complete a wide variety of tasks. Each actuator is consisting of Robodrive Brushless DC servo motor, Harmonic drive gear box, a very high precision rotary position sensor, torque sensor, and electromagnetic brake unit. However, it is 6 DOF but it’s still light weight.
